IPCC New Syllabus July 2017 for May 2018
ICAI had put an announcement on Feb 2015 that they are bringing changes in CA IPCC syllabus/course/curriculum, and the same ipcc syllabus is officially launched on CA day on 1st July 2017 by the PMO Modi. Here the IPCC new syllabus 2017 is given
ICAI has planned to bring the major changes in the CA Curriculum as this is a normal trend by ICAI to bring changes at major extent at every 5-8 years like they did back in 2008 by bringing IPCC then intermediate, but now this time the syllabus is going to change to co-operate with the current trends in the law, finance, economics & information technology.
We have given below the official IPCC new syllabus 2017 for upcoming IPCC exams from May 2018 onwards
IPCC New Syllabus
Total 8 papers: There will be 8 papers in IPCC new syllabus.
Remember, Information Technology & Strategic Management paper is included back. In new syllabus Direct tax laws for 60 marks and Indirect tax laws for 40 Marks. Read below changes in IPCC new syllabus from 2016 !!

We recommend you to check old IPCC Syllabus, and compare the new one to see which one seem easier. According to me the old ipcc syllabus is more simple.

Paper I : Accounting (100 Marks)
Paper 2: Corporate Laws & Other Laws (100 Marks)

- Part II: Other Laws (40 Marks)

The Applicability of this IPCC New Syllabus 2017
As per the latest updates on icai.org site, the new ipcc syllabus 2017 will apply from May 2018. Hence, if your IPCC registration is done on 1st July 2017 or later then you will have to read the IPCC New Syllabus.

Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS)
Duration: 4 weeks (2 weeks for soft skills and 2 weeks for IT)
When to complete: Students registering for the Intermediate course shall be required to do ICITSS before the commencement of practical training.
Assessment Test: An assessment test shall be conducted at the end of the course which the students have to qualify for being able to appear in the Intermediate examination.
Practical Training
Duration of Practical Training: Three Years
Commences after completing Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) and passing Either or Both Groups of Intermediate.
For direct entrants coming through Graduation and Post Graduation route, the practical training commences immediately after they complete four weeks ICITSS.
Advance Four Weeks Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS)
Duration: 4 weeks (2 weeks for soft skills and 2 weeks for Advance IT)
When to complete: Students undergoing Practical training shall be required to do AICITSS during the last 2 years of Practical training but to complete the same before appearing in the Final Examination.
Assessment Test: An assessment test shall be conducted at the end of the course which the students have to qualify for being eligible to appear in the Final Examination.

Please provide us IPCC GROUP-II MAY 16 practice manual and study material as soon as possible.
Since new syllabus for IPCC is on the anvil, my doubt is that can the existing students in the current syllabus can take exam. in the old syllabus for some attempts? Please clarify
